Allergy Free Easter nest with mini chocolate eggs
Makes 6 nests and 12 mini eggs
60g Dairy free chocolate
20g coconut oil
2tsp golden syrup
50g rice krispies
20g icing sugar mixed with a little water to make icing
Food colouring (if you want different colour eggs)
Place the dairy free chocolate, coconut oil and golden syrup into a bowl and put it over a saucepan of hot water and let it come together. To make the eggs cut up some clingflim into little squares, put some of the chocolate mix in the centre of each squares and bring the edges together twist them this makes a little ball, repeat this 12 times.Place them in the fridge to harden.
To make the nests add the rice krispies into the rest of the chocolate and mix put this mixture into bun cases making a well in the centre of each one to make it look like a nest. Put the nests in to the fridge to harden.
When the eggs and nest are hard enough (about an hour will do) decorate the eggs with the icing as you wish.
As always these are Gluten free, Wheat free, Dairy free, Egg free, and Nut free.
