Raspberry, pear and vanilla jam
I was asked for a recipe to use up a lot of pears. The lady in question has a lot of pear trees, “lucky her”. As I said before its been a great year for growth, anything that did grow it was in abundance. So for this recipe I am using raspberries with the pears. Living in Wexford the South East of Ireland we are so lucky we have some of the best fruit farms in the world. So when the fruit is in season I buy in bulk and freeze them. I can have the taste of summer anytime of the year. Making jams also gives you a taste of any season at anytime.
