Cathal’s Chocolate Biscuit Cake
This Cake is great for a birthday cake or a lovely treat over Christmas. I had it for Cathal’s birthday party and there was not a lot left after the party. Not one of the children noticed it was wheat, dairy, gluten, egg and nut free. To me that’s what makes this a big hit!!!!!
250g dairy and gluten free chocolate
2tbsp dairy free margarine
150g honey comb
150g biscuits (whatever is your favourite)
100g mini marshmallows
2pkt dairy and gluten free white chocolate buttons
1/. Line a square tin with grease proof paper. Place the chocolate, margarine and honey into a large pan, over a low heat and melt until smooth.
2/. Break the biscuits and honey comb into big chunks.
3/. When the chocolate mix is melted, add the biscuits, honey comb, marshmallows and white buttons and mix well. Thin pour this mixture into the prepared tin and leave to set.(You can place it in the fridge if you need it in a hurry).
