Very simple apple and cinnamon slices!!!
This is so simple to make. It is a great way of using up all the apples that are in abundance at this time of the year. It is a lovely warming after school treat served with Alpro soya custard Yum!
300g gluten free self raising flour
200g caster sugar
1tsp baking powder gluten/wheat free
1 apple peeled, cored and cubed (1cm)
150g dairy free margarine melted
120g apple puree
100ml dairy free milk coconut/rice/soya
1. Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees. Add all the dry ingredients into a bowl, add the cubed apples and mix.
2. Mix the margarine, apple puree and milk and mix. Pour this mixture into the dry ingredients and mix into a smooth batter.
3. Pour the batter mix into a well greased ovenproof dish and bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
This will make about 9 slices.
