Hidden Wheat In Food

When reading a label to check for hidden wheat, look out for;

Bulgur
Durum
Einkorn
Emmer
Farina
Flour (not if stated wheat free)
Farro
Fu
Graham
Kamut
Seitan
Semolina
Spelt
Sprouted wheat
Triticale
Triticum aestivum
Wheat grass

Foods that may contain wheat(Not All)

Baked goods (cakes, breads, buns, pastries, biscuits, etc.)
Batters
Pancakes
Cereals
Crisps
Beer
Stock (cubes or powder)
Baking powder
Deli meats
Ready made burgers, meatballs, sausages, etc.
Gravies
Condiments (salad dressings and sauces)
Most deserts
Pastas
Soups, Stews and Casseroles (can all be thickened with wheat)
Soy sauce
Tamari
Sweets (chocolate, jellies, candy, etc.)

It is impossible to name all the food that contain wheat, my advice is to read all labels.
